Chuck Warner's Latest "Lessons From Legends"

SwimSwam.com posted a new, "Lessons from Legends," article today, by Coach Chuck Warner. While the article (http://swimswam.com/lessons-legends-usa-swimmings-enduring-roses/)  was about Coach Bill Rose and his wife, Coach Siga Rose, there was a reference in it to a young swimmer, Karen Crouse, who had interviewed and written about her DeAnza teammate Mike Bruner for a school assignment. In the comments to the SwimSwam piece, a writer provided a link to a June 30, 2012 story in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/01/sports/olympics/swimmer-and-young-writer-inspired-each-other-in-1976.html?_r=0), by now journalist Karen Crouse, that described that school assignment, and the inspiration the assignment gave to her to become a write, and to Mike Bruner as he competed in the 1976 Olympic Trials at Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool in Long Beach, CA. We hope you enjoy the story.
