Where are the great women swim coaches?

SwimSwam.com has published a terrific article from Coach Chuck Warner with the title of, "Where Did All the Great Women Coaches Go?"

When I was a teenage swimmer, the only female head swim coach I ever saw on deck was the highly successful Mary Kelly of Vesper Boat Club in Philadelphia. Many more have come along since then, but Coach Warner's article points out how many of the really good ones "retired" way too early.

Other interesting notes in the article include Gregg Troy's comments about what he would do if he had to do it all over again, and that Bob Bowman is reportedly planning to take an entire year off from coaching.
